About Us

Quality – Excellence – Integrity

I began working as a carpenter in 1982 with my father who was a general contractor. I graduated from Paso Robles High School and Cal Poly, SLO.   Carpentry is how I put myself through school and how I could afford to explore the world a little.

I became a general contractor in 2005 and had a good run at building using sustainable techniques. I worked with the straw bale architect Ken Haggard and learned to build with an eye toward harvesting the sun in the winter and blocking it in the summer. But after building many houses from beginning to end, from the framing to the finish, I decided that finish carpentry was where my interests and talents lay.

I now focus on residential and commercial finish work. I have the skills and equipment to take on any finish carpentry and woodworking projects you might have. I also have a network of finish carpenter colleagues that I can bring on board for larger jobs or projects that require urgency. Besides standard finish carpentry projects I can build your custom cabinets, custom doors, furniture, casework, or any other woodwork you’re after.

I live in Paso Robles with my wife and our two daughters.
